About Lisa:

Lisa ParisLisa Redditt Paris was born in Nancy, France to Mississippi parents. Her family returned to Mississippi where she began her study of art at the age of five under the tutelage of her French-German instructor. After 13 years of study in Greenwood, Mississippi, Lisa accepted an art scholarship from Mississippi University for Women. She continued her studies at the University of Mississippi where she received a B.S. degree with an emphasis on art and interior design. Lisa is married to Lee Paris, has 3 children and one granddaughter. Her daughters Rachel Paris Pritchett and Vivian Bardin Paris both are artists and have work included in her recent show along with longtime friend and artist Charles Jenkins.

Lisa has the opportunity to build upon her training and passion for art. Her paintings include her love of flowers, landscapes, and objects d’art. They are a knowing reflection of the Creator of all beautiful things. Most recently she has been enjoying creating abstracts and impressionistic paintings. Her recent paintings depict adaptations to emotions, sights, atmosphere, and experimentation with how to express creativity.

Currently, Lisa has a private studio at home in Jackson, Mississippi. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, the Mississippi State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and a member of the Mississippi Oil Painters Association.
